Garage SALE

One regular feature that has started in our area is the “Garage Sale” that is occurring every three weeks or so in a rented basement of a new building. No cars or old things. It is a well organized sale of new “off season” products like clothes, artificial jewelry, belts, vases and 2701029772 ce74527571household articles.

The first couple of garage sales of clothing were cheap enough for people to buy trolley loads and then wait in queue to make payments. Now, things are of course cheaper then buying from stores but not as cheap as people have come to expect from the Garage Sale.

Very often people expect the gravy train or the good times to just roll along and them to keep on enjoying. If things are not cheap enough in price but good in quality then the usual comment is the sale was not good or the seller was trying to make more money. We begin to feel disappointed even though we know in reality the prices at which things are sold off may be cheaper than their costs of import or manufacture.

Have you been in such a situation?
